Visit the Christmas market

The Christmas market has been open since yesterday, December 18, and you can find it on Paseo de Vista Alegre, next to the harbour. In addition to having handmade products and Christmas sweets, the market has an area specifically designated for gastronomy where you can enjoy various food trucks.

Besides, a stage has been built in the same market, designed for the activities that the little ones will enjoy and the performances of local artists and music and dance academies of Torrevieja that will take place practically every day.

If you want to spend a pleasant afternoon, and promote local commerce and culture, drop by Paseo de Vista Alegre.

Enjoy the music

Torrevieja is a place full of music, where you can attend a concert practically every week, so of course there are Christmas concerts on these days.

On December 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22 you can enjoy the classic Carols in Plaza de la Constitución, featuring different choirs each time. In addition, you can go watch concerts of Christmas and New Year as well as solidarity and choir concerts in the auditorium and the Palace of Music, as well as in the newly opened municipal theatre.

Whatever your preferences, you’ll surely find some time to appreciate all the musical culture we have during these holidays.

Cherish our theatre

We can’t not talk about our theatre, especially considering that the Municipal Theater has finally opened, located in the very city centre.

This very Friday at 20:00 you can watch, for free, the play “Don Juan Tenorio”, acted by MicTeatro and directed by Borja Rodríguez. Just make sure you get an invitation as soon as possible, or you’ll miss it!

Additionally, on December 28 at 9:00 p.m. and on December 29 at 6:00 p.m., Comparsa la Sal de Torrevieja will represent its Comedic-Musical Magazine of the same name, in which we can learn a little more about Spanish theatre in the 50s and 60s.

Meet Santa Claus and the Three Wise Men

Santa Claus and his elves will visit Torrevieja on December 23, and will stay in the Plaza de la Constitución from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. On the other hand, although the Three Wise Men won’t have arrived yet, their royal pages will go to the Plaza de la Constitución on January 2, 3 and 4.

The Three Wise Men parade itself will begin at 5:30 p.m. on January 5. As Their Majesties arrive by boat, it will start at the harbour, and it will end at the Constitution Square.

If you have young children at home, don’t miss the chance to take them to experience the magic of Christmas in our town.

Participate in Christmas activities

In addition to what we have already summarized, there are many more activities to do these parties, from chocolate parties to face painting, in addition to the tradition of giving letters to the Three Wise Men to their pages.

If you don’t want to miss anything, here’s the activity program. This year the whole town dresses up for Christmas, and there will be activities all over Torrevieja, so don’t miss it!

From Inmokea we wish that you enjoy these parties very much, and that next year will be spectacular for you. If by any chance you need to carry out a real estate process, remember that we will be available by appointment on December 26, 27, 30 and January 2 and 3, so be sure to call and book an appointment! Happy Holidays!
